Gold Pass $150. A Gold Pass admits entry to all the feature films in the Festival, and also includes the Opening Night Gala on Friday, October 14, at 6.30pm, with Opening Night Film , "Brooklyn Lobster," at 9pm. SOLD OUT!

The only way to go to the Opening Night Film is with a Gold Pass or a Gala Pass. Tickets are not sold individually for the Opening Night Film, "Brooklyn Lobster."
Individual Film Tickets went on sale Wednesday, September 21. 
Price of the 2005 individual film tickets are $8 in advance & $10 at the door (if still available). Tickets for the family film on Saturday morning are $2.50 ("Howl's Moving Castle") for both kids and adults alike.
If tickets to an individual film do sell out in advance, take heart - you may be able to purchase tickets 10 minutes prior to the screening if available, by standing on the Theatre "Rush Line."

After purchase via telephone (570-409-0909), tickets can be picked up at the Black Bear office or at the door of the Gala on Opening Night, or thereafter at the Milford Theatre ticket booth during the Festival. Tickets will not be mailed.
Note that The historic Milford Theatre can only hold 300 people at a time, and thus gold passes are limited.
You must speak directly to a Festival sales representative in order to book. No tickets will be sold online or via email - we cannot control the numbers unless each one is sold individually. Passes & Tickets will only be available by speaking directly to the Sales Office at 570.409.0909, or by stopping into the Black Bear office.
Tickets are available for purchase in person weekdays 11am-4pm at the Festival Office at the Upper Mill on Mill Street (opposite the Waterwheel Complex) in Milford, PA, or over the telephone with credit card by calling 570.409.0909. Pay in person with cash, check (payable to Black Bear Film Festival), VISA, MasterCard or American Express. Phone purchases can be made only by credit card.
The Opening Night Gala, featuring a glorious buffet catered by and partially underwritten by The Muir House, is an amazing event full of excitement, TV cameras, celebrity guests and a Skytracker throwing Opening Night beams of light into the star-studded sky. If you only attend one event all year, the Black Bear Film Festival Opening Night Gala is the one to see and be seen! This year, for the first time, the Gala will be held in a huge Festival Gala Tent opposite the Milford Theatre!

Over 30 films & seminars are FREE!
No tickets, however, are needed for the FREE Festival Film Salon, which is expanded to TWO TENTS - the "Rialto" and the "Trans-Lux" Theatres - of continual events and films. For the entire weekend of the Festival, beginning on Saturday, October 14, until 4pm on Sunday, October 16, events in the Film Salon and the EnviroFest are free to the public and open to everyone - just come and take a seat. The Film Salon creates intimate settings adjacent to the Milford Theatre where filmmakers discuss their craft, answer questions, and show cutting-edge & themed film shorts.
The Black Bear Film Festival celebrates independent filmmaking, especially those that investigate the interaction of the human spirit within the natural world. Over 3000 people came to Milford, Pennsylvania, for the weekend event of October 15-17, 2004. The Black Bear Film Festival is a 501(c)3 charitable organization, and donations are tax deductible to the full extent allowed by law.
