CORONATION (# 11)

Location: The little park by Milford Diner

Sponsor: Milford Chrysler, Rt 6 & 209, Milford, PA

Artist: William Kloetzer

A life-long native of Milford, Billy Kloetzer was classically trained in painting at Moravian college. He found his artist rhythm in the Peace Corps teaching art in Ghana, West Africa, in between his nearly 5 year employment as a caregiver for head trauma patients. These opposing views of life have enabled him to find his palette as both free and yet bound by the realities of the human condition. His art embraces his flare for whirlwind traveling, having taken him to dozens of unique countries, finding the essence of the people who inhabit these places, as well as those who explore them. For many, their careers as artists would have led them to reside in cosmopolitan centers for art, but Billy remains true to his roots, and always returns to Milford to expand his craft. His paintings are presently being exhibited at the A.P.A. Gallery at Forest Hall in Milford, the Rustica Gallery in Los Angeles, and La Barba del Mono in Granada, Nicaragua.)
