Fundraisers: The Silent Auction
Set within the Hospitality Tent, among the excitement of the film screenings, quietly lurks the BBFF silent auction. From original artwork to gift baskets to one-of-a-kind services, moviegoers do well to take advantage of the many wonderful items offered, and support the festival at the same time.
Fundraisers: The Silent Auction
The Silent Auction is conducted throughout the days of the Black Bear Film Festival, October 14.16, 2005. All items are displayed, and a Silent Auction sign-up sheet is posted in the Film Festival Hospitality Tent. You may quietly add your bid to any item you deem of particular interest. Keep checking the bid list to see how you are faring, and increase your bid at any time until the bids are closed at 4:45pm on the last day of the Festival, Sunday, October 16, 2005, and winners announced.

Over 50 items have been donated, including golf packages, artwork, garden urn, a big clock, dining gift certificates, even a huge stuffed bear!

The Painted Bear Sculptures will also be auctioned in the Silent Auction in a similar manner.
