In under a month we have planned a festival of high standards and broad appeal. At this moment the program is being finalized with some of the most beloved and thought-provoking films available. Tickets will go on sale soon--look for the announcement! We can't wait to share with you some of the exciting movies that will be shown at this year's festival.
 
As the festival approaches we need your help to give us the financial boost to bring this year's event to a whole new level. We know you share Black Bear's excitement about independent film making and our sense of wonder at the world we are all part of. The festival attracts hundreds of new visitors every year, and exposes them to the businesses, environment and welcoming atmosphere of Pike County.
