JOE REVITTE

Black Bear's new film programmer is a film producer and writer based in Brooklyn, NY. Previously a creative executive at Fine Line Features, Joe acquired and/or co-produced such films as DANCER IN THE DARK, TUMBLEWEEDS, SWEET HEREAFTER and SHINE. He also executive produced PECKER, directed by John Waters. He has served as an advisor for the Newport Film Festival, Denver Film Festival, Santa Fe Festival as well as a juror for the Student Academy Awards and the St. Louis Film Festival. He currently works for Hypnotic, a film and television production company based in New York City.
